A Demonstration with Marjorie Ball and Susan Fossati
March 12, 2016 11am – 1pm Warwick Museum of Art
Looking at and painting the same model, ALRI Elected Members Marjorie Ball and Susan Fossati will demonstrate how the creative process is a very personal and individual experience. Participants will watch as the two artists scan for patterns, colors, and shapes and move that information to the canvas, perhaps in two very different ways. In what ways do the paintings look similar? How and why are they different? What problem did each artist intend to solve? What good and bad decisions were made in the process? Participants will hear answers to these questions and more at this Art League Rhode Island demonstration. Refreshments.
- Fee: $15 per person
