Basic Membership is open to anyone who enjoys and appreciates art and is interested in participating in Art League events. This membership category is not eligible to exhibit.

Open to any artist interested in exhibiting artwork in Art League’s Annual Members Exhibition and on our e-commerce website.

Artists whose work is commensurate with that of our current Elected Artists may apply to become Elected Artists. Elected Artist status is granted on an annual basis through a rigorous juried selection process. Candidates submit a portfolio showing a distinctive, cohesive, and original body of work that demonstrates the highest level of technical ability, creative thinking, and artistic development. A statement of intent that defines the purpose of the work, and identifies its aims and objectives, is also required.

Patron of the Arts membership is open to any individual with an interest in supporting the growth of arts and culture in the greater Rhode Island area.

Member Benefits Include:

• Name listed as a Patron of the Arts on ALRI website
• Name listed as Patron of the Arts on the footer of ALRI emails
• Invitations to ALRI annual meeting, guest speaker programs, events and exhibitions
• Discounted admission to ticketed events when applicable
• Special “Patron, Benefactor, and Collector’s Circle Opening” for exhibits at 80 Fountain Street
• Networking opportunities in an artistic community

Art Benefactor membership is open to any individual with a strong interest in supporting the growth of arts and culture in the greater Rhode Island area.

Collector’s Circle membership is open to any individual who wishes to make a significant impact on the growth of arts and culture in the greater Rhode Island area. This category of membership is especially beneficial to those individuals who wish to have deeper personal relationships with contemporary New England artists whose works they admire and or collect.

• Business card-sized graphic as a Collector’s Circle member on ALRI website
• Business card-sized graphic as a Collector’s Circle member on the footer of ALRI emails
• Verbal recognition from the podium at opening receptions
