Hemp – hand dyed, printed, appliquéd, stitched, computer generated text. As a textile artist, I start with white or natural fabric then add layer upon layer – immersion dyeing, hand printing, hand stitching, appliqué, and other embellishments. Much of my recent work focuses on social justice issues embedded in our abuse of the earth’s environment.
