All Elected Artist members whose Art League Rhode Island (ALRI) dues are up to date are invited to submit two artworks. To check the status of your membership, please email the office at  or call (401) 861-0500.

Hanging Fee:  Artists may submit two pieces for $35. Due to space limitations, ALRI reserves the right to not install the piece designated “Entry 2”. Payment may be made by check or online at ALRI with PayPal.

Artwork:  All media accepted. Artwork previously exhibited with ALRI is not permitted. All work must be original and current. Work found to be copied from copyrighted work will not be hung (no reprints). All work must be exhibition ready to install with the appropriate hardware. No saw tooth hangers or clips. No dark-colored mats. Work that does not adhere to the guidelines will not be exhibited.

Installation pieces:  Any member entering an installation work must submit a detailed description of the installation including dimensions and any electrical requirements to

NOTE: Installation pieces must be approved upon registration. Artists requiring special installation of work must be available to help if requested. Pedestals will be provided for 3D work if requested.

Size limit:  Maximum size up to 60″ wide x 72″ high including frame. Artists may have multiple pieces (diptych, triptych etc.) to make up one work. 3D work will be moved on a regular basis for events. We ask that the overall footprint of 3D work be 36″ x 36″ inches or less, with a weight limit of 40 pounds.

Fee may be submitted through PayPal. Please attach a JPG of your work to be exhibited with your email, 6 inches in either direction at 300 dpi. Include the artist’s name and title of work in the file name.

Cut out and attach the Artist ID forms to the back of your artwork for delivery to the Jamestown Arts Center.

Sales & Commissions:  Work may be for sale or listed as Not for Sale (NFS); however, NO work may be listed as Price on Request (POR). For insurance purposes, a value must be attributed to all pieces. Commission information is on page 2.

Jamestown Arts Center (JAC) Artist Agreement:  Please read, check the boxes where appropriate and sign the agreement between the artist and JAC.

Liability: Legal Agreement & Participant’s

Waiver:  Submission of work automatically waives any claim for damage or loss against ALRI or JAC, including the officers, members, and employees. ALRI will exercise reasonable care in handling all entries, but will not assume any liability for loss or damage while in JAC’s possession. Work should be independently insured by the artist.
