Juror:
Susan Fossati, an ALRI Elected Member, is a recognized local and international freelance artist with 25 years experience teaching at RISD and CCRI. She received first prize at the 2017 Newport Art Museum Annual Members’ Exhibition in Drawing/Prints/Pastels. As an award-winning artist at the Copley Society of Art in Boston, she was a juried member there from 1995-2005. Her work is in numerous collections including the Galleria of the Church of San Clemente (property of the Vatican) in Rome, Italy.

Eligibility: All members whose ALRI dues are UP TO DATE. Due to space constraints, please submit only one artwork. Depending on participation, we’ll be in touch if two artworks will be permitted. To check the status of your membership, please email the office at artleagueri@gmail.com.
Hanging Fee: $35. Payment may be made by check or online at ALRI with PayPal.
Artwork: All media accepted. Artwork previously exhibited with ALRI is not permitted. All work must be original and created in the last four years. Work found to be copied from copyrighted work will not be hung (no reprints). All work must be exhibition ready to install with the appropriate hardware. No saw tooth hangers or clips. No dark-colored mats. Work that does not adhere to the guidelines will not be exhibited.
Installation pieces: Any member entering an installation work must submit a detailed description of the installation including dimensions and any electrical requirements to artleagueri@gmail.com by February 7. NOTE: Installation pieces must be approved upon registration, as there are many limitations on the exhibition space. Artists requiring special installation of work must be available to help if requested. Pedestals will be provided for 3D work if requested.
Size limit: Maximum size up to 48” wide x 48” high including frame. Artists may have multiple pieces (diptych, triptych etc.) to make up one work. 3D work will be moved on a regular basis for events. We ask that the overall footprint of 3D work be 24” x 24” inches or less, with a weight limit of 50 pounds.
Registration guidelines: Registration is required by Wednesday, February 14. Artists may select to register by mailing the two form pages and fee to: ALRI, One Avenue of The Arts, Providence, RI 02903. Or, fill in the .pdf file electronically and send by email to artleagueri@gmail.com with subject line, Members Exhibit. Fee may be submitted through PayPal. If you would like to replace your current bio/resume in the ALRI notebook, please bring a new copy upon delivery of your work, typed on an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper (two pages maximum)
Early Publicity Deadline: Artists are not required to submit a JPG image of the work to be submitted, but if you would like to have your work considered for promotional purposes, please send a JPG 6” in either direction at 300dpi by January 31 to artleagueri@gmail.com.
Sales & Commissions: Work may be for sale or listed as Not for Sale (NFS); however, no work may be listed as Price on Request (POR). Should artwork sell, the artist must provide information (tax ID or social) and will be paid at the end of the show. Commissions Rates: 60% Artist, 20% WCFA, 20% ALRI.
Liability: Legal Agreement & Participant’s Waiver: Submission of work automatically waives any claim for damage or loss against ALRI or the Wawick Center for the Arts, including the officers, members, and employees. Warwick Center for the Arts will exercise reasonable care in handling all entries, but will not assume any liability for loss or damage while in their possession. Work should be independently insured by the artist.
