Anyone can join Art League RI as a member at any time. You don’t have to be an artist, and you don’t have to be a RI resident!

All renewal dues are for a 12-month period commencing each March 1.

BASIC MEMBER
Basic Members are any artists living or working in New England.
ARTIST MEMBER
ALRI is a thriving center for visual arts in Rhode Island, working to bring together talented artists from all around New England. Our Artist Members and Elected Artists come together on our committees and board as part of this supportive community – each having their work juried into at least one ALRI national exhibition!
ELECTED ARTISTS
Our Elected Artists are highly sought-after creatives who bring vibrant and unique artwork to 39 cities and towns across our great state. Their works span a wide range of subject matters, from traditional to contemporary styles; some have already been recognized nationally for their excellent craftsmanship, while others are just beginning to embark on the path towards renown. Through an exclusive jury process we select new Artist Members annually—with any luck you’ll soon be seeing them in galleries around the world!
- Renew Elected Artist Member Dues – $200
- Application for Elected Artist Membership – $35
- Newly Elected Artist Member Dues – $200 and Initiation Fee – $50
Becoming an Elected Artist is a highly sought-after recognition! New members will be charged on a pro-rata basis, while those whose membership has lapsed are encouraged to rejoin us. Reapplying artists can expect to pay their past 12 months’ dues in addition regular fees – but don’t worry; exceptions may apply if you contact us directly.
