Winter Exhibition Opening Reception

Elected Artist, Susan Fossati, has a piece in the exhibition – “About Change”, inspired by student walk-out following the Parkland shooting.
A highly anticipated event, the Newport Annual Members’ Juried Exhibition showcases an eclectic and exciting selection of art created in all media by artists from Rhode Island and beyond. Featuring work made in the past two years, this show illustrates the diverse approaches of regional contemporary artists.
Also on view: Lalla Essaydi: From “Converging Territories” to “Harem Revisited,” William Kentridge: Stereoscope, as well as pieces from our permanent collection
Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available. Come stroll the Museum and celebrate new work in the galleries!
