Art League of Rhode Island’s upcoming exhibit, “Comfort Zone”, will be held at the Portsmouth Arts Guild.

Opening Reception: Friday, July 15, 2011, 6-8 pm

Exhibition Dates: July 15 through August 14, 2011.

Theme Description: The comfort zone is a state within which a person operates in an anxiety-neutral condition, using a familiar set of behaviors to deliver a steady level of performance, usually without a sense of risk. To step outside a person’s comfort zone, they must experiment with new and different behaviors, and then experience the new and different responses that then occur within their environment. Highly successful persons may routinely step outside their comfort zones, to accomplish what they wish.

Portsmouth Arts Guild is located in the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Parish House, 2679 E. Main Rd., Portsmouth, R.I. 02871.

Artist members are invited to showcase artwork at the upcoming Annual Members’ Exhibit, which is scheduled to take place at Salve Regina University.

Please note, for 2-D art, that the square foot area means work area not frame - but please be considerate on frame size as we have a limited space this year.
